Yesterday I hosted a brunch to ask my sister to be my maid of honor and my girls to be my bridesmaids at my wedding. Having them stand by my side on my big day means everything to me. I still can’t believe I am getting married but the more planning I do for this special day makes it all seem more real. To add to the Sunday festivities, I made some amazing sangria – no recipe – just the Marni special! Everyone was obsessed. For your holiday party mix together some Pinot Grigio, a little Sprite Zero, some Peach Schnapps and lots of mixed fruit, some apples, oranges, strawberries and blueberries. Everyone will love it! For all my personalized gifts, my go-to is always Etsy. I would definitely check it out when looking for that special stocking stuffer for the holidays. I’m so hooked on that site! I thought it was most appropriate to make the decor of the party pink and white since it was my first official bridal celebration. Of course, I too had to wear a pink and white ensemble. For my look, I shopped the endless floors of Forever 21 in Herald Square. Definitely overwhelming but worth a trip to find my shaggy and soft sweater. The prices are incredible and my outfit was so comfy! Some clothing items are worth an extra investment but the trick is to know how to look stylish without always spending a fortune. My friends couldn’t believe everything was under $40. You can get a shopping bag full of basics for under $100. Although I went there on a mission, I couldn’t resist buying a few other pieces for my wardrobe. I can’t wait to incorporate some into my everyday looks!
